The Sensory Garden of Lençóis Paulista is an inclusive and accessible space, specially designed to stimulate the senses and allow visitors to appreciate the plant world in ways beyond sight.
Composed of a variety of plants carefully selected to stimulate sensory perception, the garden features aromatic plants, whose leaves have different textures and scents, as well as herbs and spices that offer distinct flavors. The vibrant colors of some flowers also provide a visual stimulus, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of nature in every detail. The path through the garden is accessible and invites visitors to explore different sensations through the touch of the leaves, the fragrance of the flowers, and the gentle sounds that surround the environment.
The space also includes a Sensory Path, which consists of a route with different textures, colors, and materials, where visitors can explore and experience tactile sensations through the soles of their feet. For this, visitors are invited to enter the trail and experience it barefoot, walking calmly over the elements: wood, sand, stone, expanded clay, rubber, and PET bottles. During the walk, it will be possible to observe and feel various different sensations from each of the elements.
