PROJETOS

Nômade Lençóis Paulista

The Nômade project was created in 2001 by designers Tania de Paula and Christian Ullmann. The first editions took place in the Amazon with the challenge of preserving local culture and reconciling income generation and sustainable use of natural resources. The duo toured the five regions of Brazil and some cities in South America with the purpose of contributing to the economic, social and environmental development of communities and their territories. Through Origem Produções, the Nômade project has already been to Ribeirão Preto and Novo Horizonte and arrived in Lençóis Paulista with the proposal to identify the potential and unique characteristics of the region, promote artisanal know-how and contribute to the creation of new products and services with identity location. The Nômade Project was sponsored by Lwart Soluções Ambientais through the Federal Culture Incentive Law, with executive production by Origem Produções and had the support of the City Hall of Lençóis Paulista, through the Secretariats of Tourism and Culture and also the Municipal Center of Professional Training. The free project was aimed at artists, artisans, designers, cultural agents, entrepreneurs, students, teachers and those interested in artisanal production, design, entrepreneurship and creative processes. The project proposal is to form a diverse and multidisciplinary group to participate in collaborative and co-creation activities. Thematic workshops, design clinics, co-creation laboratory, documentary and a book were offered with the aim of valuing and promoting the potential of the creative economy of Lençóis Paulista. For more information, access the Oficina Nômade website through this link. Access the digital version of the book TERRITORIES and watch the documentary OLHARES.
