A traditional cachaça producer, the Zillo family began working in the industry in 1906, when Mr. José Zillo and his brothers set up a distillery in the Rocinha neighborhood of Lençóis Paulista, where they lived. After a brief period of developing this activity, José Zillo directed his business towards the sugar and alcohol sector. However, the Zillo family's history of cachaça production continued with one of his nephews, Mr. Gino Zillo, who maintained production until 1971.

In 2007, Luiz Santana Zillo, grandson of José Zillo, and his children, revived the family's origins by creating Engenho São Luiz, with the aim of offering a special product to lovers of good cachaça.

Thus, since its conception, Engenho São Luiz was carefully designed to produce still cachaça through rigorously controlled processes and with a restricted production volume, to guarantee its unique quality.

São Luiz cachaça has been gaining ground in the market, has received several national and international awards and has already begun exporting the product.

Attached to the distillery is the Armazém São Luiz, a place where visitors can find all the drinks produced by Engenho São Luiz and typical products from the farm.

The Casagrande Winery or Sítio da Rocinha is a rural tourism property in the traditional neighborhood of “Rocinha” and dates back to the origins of the village of Lençóis Paulista. The owners are descendants of Italians and preserve traditions by planting and producing artisanal wine.

The history of Sítio Rocinha begins in 1889 when the first Italian immigrants began to establish small plantations or farms on the banks of the Lençóis River for the subsistence of families. These small farms gave rise to the name Rocinha.

On the site, there is still today a house dating back to 1889, which has undergone restoration, where the journalist and historian Alexandre Chitto was born on February 7, 1901. The property has belonged to the Casagrande family for five generations and preserves the tradition of planting grapes and producing wines in an artisanal way.

Visitors to the winery can stroll through the historic building, the vineyard area and visit the “Cellar” where wine barrels are stored, allowing them to feel part of the production process. The site has space for making wine, grape juice and distillate, and artisanal Parma ham, and also offers its products for sale in its store.

The winery also has a restaurant, reusing an old family home, which serves lunch from Tuesday to Sunday. The restaurant's flagship dish is the filet parmigiana, served with rice and fries, but there are also pasta and risotto options, as well as different starters.

The space is also reserved for parties, weddings and get-togethers, as well as being an Instagrammable place for photo shoots.
